Product description
The manual EFC18 control unit features a 9-step speed regulator that gives you control over your chimney fan, ensuring optimal ignition and experience of your stove or fireplace.
The chimney fan is activated with a single press of the control unit. It starts by running at maximum power for 7 minutes, preventing smoke, dust, and soot from entering the living room during ignition.
After the 7 minutes, the control unit adjusts the draught to the most recently used setting.
If you need to refuel the stove, press the button on the control unit, and the draught will be boosted for 3 minutes to prevent smoke from entering the living room and to accelerate the combustion process.
When the fire is dying and you do not wish to refuel, the included temperature sensor, installed under the chimney fan, detects the drop in temperature. It then turns off the fan after 45 minutes, ensuring that all fuel is burned out.
The temperature sensor ensures that the chimney fan starts if it detects a significant temperature rise in the chimney, even if you have not manually activated it through the control unit.
The EFC18 must be installed by a certified electrician, and a repair switch must be mounted on the chimney, which also needs to be installed by a certified electrician.
