Product description
The Exodraft Damper Motor is used in our draught system solutions for the protection or control of the supply of hot flue gas to Basic Plate heat recovery units.
The damper motor is designed to operate at continuous flue gas temperatures up to 600 °C and is primarily used for larger boiler systems, industrial, and commercial installations.
All parts that come into contact with flue gases are made of stainless steel EN 1.4404, and all external parts are made of stainless steel EN 1.4301.
An integrated electric motor opens and closes the damper. There are two types: on/off or modulating motor. The power supply and start/stop signal are received from an external Exodraft control unit and are not part of the Damper Motor.
The Damper Motor must not be used as a drainage point in a draught system.
As a rule, the Damper Motor should be installed indoors. If outdoor installation is desired, additional shielding is required.
Flue gases must be of a quality (particle-free) that over time will not cause the damper to become clogged with particle residues, which could affect its functionality.
The solution has a safety feature that forces it to close automatically in the event of a power failure.
