The EBC22 control unit is an automatic control system with a pressure sensor (XTP sensor) for one or two boilers or other heating installations where multiple units are connected to the same chimney.
By connecting an ES12 relay box to the control unit, you can connect up to four boilers or other heating installations.

The included pressure sensor is installed in the chimney, where it monitors and sends signals to the control unit to maintain a predefined negative pressure by regulating the speed of the chimney fan.

When starting boilers or other heating installations, a signal is sent to the EBC22, which starts the chimney fan at maximum speed. When the optimal chimney draught is achieved, a signal is sent to start the boilers’ burners/heating installations.

The EBC22 has an option for an external input for a pressure switch or alarm sensor and an option for an alarm output, for example, to a BMS (Building Management System).
