Chimney fans for gas

Chimney Fans for Gas Fireplaces, Boilers and Gas-Fired Systems

Gas-based heating solutions require precisely controlled chimney draught to operate efficiently and safely. Exodraft’s chimney fans for gas are designed specifically for this purpose, ensuring constant negative pressure in the flue – regardless of chimney height, wind conditions or system type.

Optimal combustion and reliable performance with a chimney fan for gas fireplaces

With a chimney fan from Exodraft, you get not only a reliable and stable solution but also improved combustion and system efficiency. The system ensures controlled and safe extraction of flue gases and guarantees that the gas burns cleanly and without risk of backdraught.

Exodraft offers several chimney fan models that are approved and optimised for use with gas. All models comply with current safety standards and are designed to ensure stable draught in installations where natural chimney draught is insufficient.

Three series – one solution for all types of gas installations

RSG-series

The RSG series is our most widely used chimney fan for gas fireplaces and small gas-fired systems. It features vertical discharge and a robust motor housing that protects against moisture and the elements. The RSG ensures controlled negative pressure and is ideal for decorative gas fireplaces and low-energy buildings with short or angled flue systems.

RSVG-series

The RSVG series builds upon the GSV and is used for larger installations, including industrial gas boilers and multi-unit systems with shared flues. The RSVG offers greater capacity and is suited for projects requiring enhanced suction performance and advanced control.

RHGC-series

The RHGC is designed for complex chimneys/flue pipes with up to 15 bends of 90 degrees and a length of up to 60 metres. The RHGC can be installed both vertically and horizontally – on a chimney or on a wall. The maximum gas input must not exceed 13 kW. The chimney fan creates a negative pressure in the flue and chimney to ensure optimal draught.
It is designed for concentric chimney systems, meaning the fan extracts flue gases from the fireplace while simultaneously supplying fresh combustion air.

The safe solution for gas installations

All gas-compatible models can be paired with the Exodraft EFC21 control unit, developed specifically for gas systems. The controller continuously monitors chimney draught and provides feedback to the boiler system – a crucial safety feature that prevents startup if sufficient draught is not present.

This solution is ideal for buildings with low chimney height, complex flue routing, or shared exhaust systems, where natural draught is insufficient. With an Exodraft chimney fan, you’re guaranteed reliable system performance – even when conditions are working against you.
